TFMS Testing

TFMS Auxiliary Platforms (TAPs)

A TAP is a “parallel mode” test environment that receives operational data from the TFMS Core’s Message Forwarding Subsystem. By design, TAPs are isolated from TFMS Operations and require a separate service delivery point (referred to as the FAA National Test Bed or FNTB) for external client connectivity.

There are several TAPs available to support the needs of the CDM Community. These TAPs allow CDM Participants to test both current and future TFMS functionality without the risk of introducing test data into the operational system.
